Overview
When visiting www.columbusneighborhoods.org (“Website”), the Columbus Metropolitan Library (“CML”), as the operator of the Website, may request and/or otherwise collect certain personal information. This Privacy Notice describes what personal information may be collected by CML and how such information is used by CML. This Privacy Notice applies only to information collected online through the Website.
Information We Collect
Non-Personal Information
CML may gather navigational information during each user’s visit to the Website. In the process of gathering navigational information, non-personally identifiable information (i.e. domain type, browser version, service provider and IP address) may be collected. Such information may be gathered by CML to learn more about the technical efficiencies of the Website (such as the time it takes a visitor to connect to the Website or download pages) and the use of the Website, including the areas of the Website that are most visited or the time of a last visit to a page on the Website. CML uses this information to better understand and improve its users’ experience at the Website.

CML reserves the right to revise this notice at any time. If we materially change the categories of information collected at our Website or how we use and/or disclose information collected at the Website such changes will be applied only to information collected on a going forward basis and we will update the privacy notice as follows: we will note deletions with a strike-out and additions in italics type for a thirty (30) day period after the change. For this same period, we will note [Revised] at the end of each revised sentence and update the effective date at the bottom of the Privacy Notice.
We limit access to personal information collected on the Website and utilize other technological and procedural safeguards when maintaining the Website. While we implement the above security measures on the Website, you should be aware that 100% security is not always possible.
