Jeff Abraxas, King Lincoln Muralist

Jeff Abraxas, the artist who created many of the murals in the King-Lincoln neighbhorhood on Mt. Vernon Ave. and Long Street, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at the age of 39. He created this mural on Long St. just east of I-71 because he wanted young people in the neighborhood to become familiar with the song "Lift Every Voice and Sing," for years known as "The Negro National Anthem."
