The Godman Guild settlement house provided Flytown residents land for gardens. The land was located west of the Olentangy River and north of W. Goodale Street. Later, the City of Columbus built baseball diamonds on the property and called the park "Gowdy Field." Named after baseball great Hank Gowdy.
