Robert and Lois Meyer

Bob and Lois (Garnett) Meyer grew up in the "bottoms" of Columbus. They were married at Holy Family Church on West Broad Street on April 6, 1942. Probably like a lot of people, they got married at 7:30am on a weekday, and then they both went to work. Bob was a pilot in the Air Force during WWII, and Lois stayed home and raised six kids!

Holy Family Church survived major floods (1913 and 1957), a fire in the mid-1950s and the incursion of three freeways.
