Central High School, opened September 2, 1924 and closed June 6, 1982.

Built in the Neo-Classical Style, Central High School No. 2 opened September 2, 1924 and closed June 6, 1982. Extensive renovation of the site began in 1996, only a portion of the school remains. Part of the building will be incorporated into the new Center of Science and Industry scheduled to open in November, 1999.
