1st police Chief of Columbus. OTE

I thought you might be interested to learn, as I have thru my own research, that my 1889 home in OTE is the home of Cols' 1st Police Chief.

Thru my own research on my home, I discovered this about ALEXIS KEELER. He was trained as a carpenter by his Father at age 19, fought in the civil war as 1st lieutenant, was Cols' Sergeant of Arms and, again, became Cols' 1st Police Chief.
Alexis' 2nd wifes' (Lizzy Perry) family is one of Ohio's pioneering families. Their one and only child (Edwin Keeler) later became Police Chief as well. Alexis passed away in my home after battling asthma and heart disease after 6 weeks.
I do have photos of Alexis and his son Edwin. I'm still working on locating a photo of Lizzy.
In 2006, I held a speaking engagement at Greenlawn Cemt about my home and it's previous owners (16 in all) and then afterward visited their burial site(s).
I've included a few photo links for your viewing.
If you would like to hear more, I would be happy to talk in more detail and even invite you to experience my home and it's history.
