Abiather Vinton Taylor came to Ohio in 1806 and to Truro Township in 1816.

Abiather Vinton Taylor surveyed Waggoner Rd 3/11/1830 and platted what became Reynoldsburg 11/9/1831. He helped establish the Reynoldsburg Presbyterian Church 7/24/1841.

Alexander Wilmer Livingston

Alexander Wilmer Livingston began domesticating the tomato and produced the first successful variety in 1870. Alexander founded the Livingston Seed Company in 1876. Livingston's experiments with tomato varieties on his farm near Reynoldsburg were so successful that the community was dubbed the Tomato Capital.

Solomon Jackson Woolley

Solomon Jackson Woolley came to Hilliard in 1858. Woolley was a daguerreotype portrait artist and successful farmer who developed the first modern field drainage tile factory, Appledale Tile Works.

R. Zenas Seeds was a physician in 1870 when he moved permanently to Hilliard.

John Reed Hilliard

John Reed Hilliard, an engineer, platted Hilliard, Ohio September 1, 1853 out of Norwich Township. He built the Hilliard warehouse in 1853 and founded the town's first post office May 20, 1854. J. R. Hilliard became a railroad executive in 1871 and bought the Hope Mine in Wesley City, Illinois.

Frank M. Morrison

Frank M. Morrison, of Taylor Station in Franklin county, organized the Franklin Brick and Tile Co in 1898. He also founded the Gahanna Bank on Mill Street. Frank's father was a founder of Gahanna.

Jesse Baughman

Jesse Baughman came to Mifflin township in 1805. He became Franklin County Commmissioner in 1851, and in 1853 founded the village of Bridgeport, which became Gahanna on 10/6/1881.

Leo Yassenoff, 1930

Leo Yassenoff moved to Ohio in 1893 and to Columbus in 1912. He graduated from OSU in 1916, served with the 116th Aerial Squadron in WWI, and co-founded the F & Y Construction Company in December, 1919. Among other projects Yasenoff's company built the Riverside, Eastside and CCC Auto Theaters. He established a foundation and the Columbus Jewish Center, 1125 College Avenue, opened January 6, 1983 and was dedicated in his honor October 2, 1983.
