Part of the never ending evolution of the face of OSU, the new Lane Avenue bridge completed in 2004 provided a refreshed connecting gateway between Main and West Campus.

Covered Bridge (Wilson Bridge Rd.) ca. 1900-1910

This covered bridge provided transportation over the Olentangy River at Wilson Bridge Road I Worthington in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The Wilson family owned land on both sides of the Olentangy. Wilson Bridge Road then connected with Olentangy River Road on the west side. The bridge was washed away in 1911. Early plat maps show a mill located at the bend in the river.

Benders Bridge

Benders Bridge was located on Livingston Avenue crossing Blacklick Creek almost at SR 256. The man in the photo is Lambert Moor, Husband of Kitty Graham Moor and Father of the photographer, Charles Moor.
